Henry Foppe – Junior, St. John Paul II Preparatory School
Kaitlyn Foppe – Senior, Father McGivney Catholic High School
Pianist Henry Foppe is returning to the Fox Stage as a Teen Talent Finalists for the second time – and this time he’s joined by his cousin, Kaitlyn Foppe, on violin! This dynamic duo will be performing a compelling original song by Henry called “Turing Tides”.
Henry and Kaitlyn grew up together and have been close cousins since childhood. Both musically inclined; they’ve only performed together once before but often tinker around with song ideas for fun. Henry, a Junior at St. Paul II Preparatory School, has been playing piano since he was 8 years old and views music as a tool to make sense of his emotions. Kaitlyn, a Senior at Father McGivney Catholic High School, has been playing music for 10 years and is proficient on piano and organ in addition to violin.
Henry wrote “Turning Tides an hour before performing it for a recital and says the aim of the song is to express the variety of experiences he was going through at the time. His hope is that the music will take the audience on a journey and put a story in their heads that relates to their own lives.
We can’t wait for you to see these talented cousins take the stage at the @foxtheatrestl on January 24 for the Teen Talent Final Competition! Secure your FREE tickets here: 16TH ANNUAL TEEN TALENT COMPETITION | Metrotix – Fox Theatre Saint Louis
