Meet Nadia Curtiss, a standout vocalist and junior at Missouri Online Connections Academy whose talent has taken off in just a short time. She began her performing arts journey in 2023 and made her musical theater debut in 2024, quickly earning spots with The Sheldon’s All Star Chorus, COCA’s Allegro Voice Company, and Opera Theatre of St. Louis’s Artists-In-Training Program.
Inspired by Audra McDonald, Nadia loves blending classical technique with musical theater storytelling. What she loves most about performing? The nerves—the rush of singing a song she truly loves! She hopes audiences feel the same love and joy she feels onstage.
Outside of music, Nadia is interested in business, accounting, and supply chain management, and plans to double major in business and performing arts after high school. At Teen Talent Finals, she’ll perform “Can’t Help Lovin’ Dat Man” from the musical Show Boat—and you won’t want to miss it.
